Job Summary

We are seeking a Technical Delivery Manager to lead and mentor a distributed engineering team while providing strong technical oversight. This role blends people management with deep technical leadership, ensuring code quality, engineering standards, and scalable architecture. The candidate will guide developers through code reviews, technical mentorship, and delivery improvements without owning direct coding responsibilities. The role operates with high autonomy while collaborating closely with engineering leadership. 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of ~30 engineers, supporting both senior and junior developers.
• Perform technical code reviews and provide guidance on architecture, design, and engineering standards.
• Promote best practices across the software development lifecycle, improving delivery processes and quality.
• Support SOC2 compliance requirements including traceability and development lifecycle governance.
• Collaborate with leadership on technical strategy, architecture decisions, and delivery improvements.
• Operate independently while providing regular updates to the director on team progress and challenges.
• Participate in occasional onsite collaboration for architecture discussions and team alignment.
• Encourage adoption of cloud, DevOps automation, and modern engineering practices.

Required Skills

• Strong Go (Golang) proficiency with the ability to review and assess production code.
• Experience in technical leadership or engineering management roles.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design principles, and coding standards.
• Experience with AWS cloud platform, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with SOC2 compliance within the software development lifecycle.
• Ability to operate autonomously while managing engineering teams effectively.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with .NET backend technologies.
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Exposure to Svelte-based frontend environments.
• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts or AI-driven development tools.
• Experience working with distributed global engineering teams.
