Overview:

We are looking for a versatile and highly skilled Infrastructure & Systems Integration Engineer to take over and expand the responsibilities currently held by our lead systems specialist. This role requires expertise across network monitoring, open-source VMs, digital signage software, Ubuntu Linux, PF Sense, and cellular networking (T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T). You will manage digital signage, surveillance & AI infrastructure, VPN-based remote control, and overall server uptime/health monitoring. The ideal candidate is self-sufficient, solutions-driven, and comfortable working across hardware, software, and network layers.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor systems and resolve issues proactively.
• Manage VMS, IP cameras, and AI facial recognition.
• Maintain Ubuntu signage devices and analytics integrations.
• Build/deploy Ubuntu images, push updates, troubleshoot OS.
• Handle SIMs, modems, 4G/5G failover, and remote access.
• Manage PF Sense VPN, firewalls, DNS, and secure infrastructure.
• Oversee VMware clusters, backups, and resource optimization.
• Provide technical support, document processes, and research improvements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years in IT infrastructure, systems, or engineering.
• Linux (Ubuntu), networking, VPNs, firewalls, NAT, dynamic routing.
• Hands-on with VMS, IP cameras, AI plugins, and signage tools.
• PF Sense, WAN failover, 4G/5G modems, VMware/Proxmox.
• OEM collaboration, troubleshooting, and strong communication.

Preferred

• Scripting (Bash/Python/PowerShell) & automation.
• Docker/containers, facial recognition AI, documentation/project mgmt.
• Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), cybersecurity, DevOps/CI-CD, Git.
• Certifications: CCNA, RHCSA, VMware, CompTIA Network+/Security+.
