Job Purpose

The Software Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining software systems, applications, and firmware that support R&D and Manufacturing Process Engineering initiatives. This role involves analyzing, designing, programming, debugging, and modifying computer programs for commercial or end-user applications such as materials management, financial management, or HRIS. The engineer will also contribute to defining system requirements, implementing necessary modifications, and maintaining high-quality standards for all software deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, debug, and enhance software applications using modern programming languages, methodologies, and technologies.
• Create and maintain clear technical documentation including design documents, reports, and change requests, following approved standards and procedures.
• Track and manage development activities using the organization’s approved project management tools.
• Analyze and validate software and system requirements using best software engineering practices.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend appropriate software designs, tools, and operating systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve processes, workflows, and development methodologies.

Qualifications & Required Skills

• Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree with 5–8 years of relevant experience, or
• Master’s degree with 3–6 years of experience, or
• PhD with 0–3 years of experience.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong proficiency in C# .NET and WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation).
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Hands-on experience with unit testing and integration testing.
• Medical device industry experience preferred.
• Image processing experience preferred.
