Overview:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Developer to design, develop, implement, and maintain information systems that support St. Jude Medical’s business processes. The ideal candidate will work closely with business analysts, project leads, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to SAP system enhancements. This role requires expertise across SAP platforms, integration tools, and multiple modules, with a focus on driving technical excellence in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business analysts and project leads to ensure accurate project plans and development activities.
• Meet with stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and identify enhancement requirements.
• Write detailed design and development specifications based on business requirements.
• Develop and implement custom applications or customize third-party OTS solutions.
• Serve as a key resource on project teams, handling complex development tasks independently.
• Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, company policies, and other regulatory requirements.
• Communicate effectively across multiple levels of the organization, both verbally and in writing.
• Prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-changing environment.
• Travel up to 10%, including international trips, as needed.

Skills & Qualifications: 

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 7+ years of experience in application development and support with SAP integration and database development.
• 6+ years of SAP development experience.
• 4+ years of experience with SAP ECC, CRM, GTS, SCM, and S4 Platforms.
• Participation in at least three full SAP implementations.
• Strong expertise in SAP ECC modules such as SD, MM, FI, QM.
• Expert knowledge of SAP integration tools (PO/CPI), including Graphical Mapping, Groovy Script, ABAP Mapping, SLD/IR/ID configuration, BPM, ALE, EDI, IDOCs, Workflow, Web Services.
• Solid experience with SAP development tools: ABAP Workbench, Classic Dynpro, Web Dynpro (JAVA/ABAP), BSP, Data Dictionary, ALV, ALE, EDI, IDOCs, Workflow, Object-Oriented ABAP, Function Modules (RFC), Smart forms, SAP Script, BDC/Call Transaction, User Exits, Logical Database.

Preferred:

• Experience with SAP Middleware Applications (PO, CPI, IS).
• Development experience in CRM, GTS, SCM, and APO applications.
• JAVA and UI5 development experience.
• Experience working in enterprise-wide or cross-division business environments.

Experience Requirements:

• 7+ years in application development with SAP focus.
