- Leverage AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) for efficient development
- Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and code reviews
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to architectural discussions
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver robust, cloud-based solutions (AWS)
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Proficient in Python, Django, SQL, and React
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Alchemy, and RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with Polars and Pydantic
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and automated testing
- Experience working in cloud environments (AWS)
- Comfortable using Git and modern dev tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT)
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Rust (a strong plus)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions)
- Understanding of DevOps workflows
- Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with static code analysis (e.g., GitHub Advanced Security)
- Knowledge of compensation design is a bonus
