Summary: Seeking a highly experienced Golang Developer to support the modernization of a legacy .NET MVC and SQL Server application into a scalable, event-driven microservices architecture. This role involves full-cycle development with a focus on backend engineering using Go, AWS, and modern DevOps practices, while also collaborating with cross-functional Agile teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect & Develop: Design event-driven, domain-driven microservices using Go; modernize legacy .NET/SQL systems into scalable cloud-native services.
• API & Service Implementation: Build RESTful APIs and gRPC services; ensure performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Cloud & DevOps: Deploy and manage services on AWS (Lambda, ECS, S3, API Gateway, etc.); maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Write unit, integration, and automation tests; enforce best practices for coding, testing, and deployments.
• Collaboration: Work in Agile teams (Scrum/Kanban); coordinate with Product, DevOps, and Frontend (Svelte) teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Mentorship & Leadership: Lead feature design/development; mentor junior engineers; guide architectural and technical decisions.
• Documentation & Evaluation: Maintain clear technical documentation; research and adopt new tools and technologies.
• System Optimization: Analyze performance, ensure high availability and low latency; support data and analytics initiatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelors in CS, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years in software development with strong SDLC understanding.
• Proven expertise in Go and microservices architecture.
• Strong background in SQL and database-intensive applications.
• Experience with:
• Event-driven tools (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SNS/SQS, EventBridge)
• DDD, CQRS design patterns
• Svelte or modern JavaScript frameworks
• REST/gRPC APIs
• AWS cloud services
• GitHub version control
• Familiarity with legacy systems (.NET MVC, SQL Server)
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Terraform (IaC), Docker, Kubernetes.
• CI/CD & GitHub Advanced Security.
• Knowledge of Cypress and modern testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with Auth0, Okta, or ADFS for authentication.
• Experience with ChartIO, amCharts for reporting.
• Exposure to serverless architectures.
• Healthcare industry knowledge.
• Understanding of physician compensation models (RVUs, CMMS).
