Summary:
Seeking a highly experienced Golang Developer to support the modernization of a legacy .NET MVC and SQL Server application into a scalable, event-driven microservices architecture. This role involves full-cycle development with a focus on backend engineering using Go, AWS, and modern DevOps practices, while also collaborating with cross-functional Agile teams. We are seeking an experienced Golang developer, someone who has done modern, cloud-based development: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing microservices using the Go programming language and a deep understanding of modern software engineering practices. This role offers an opportunity to design, build, and maintain scalable, robust, and high-performance systems in a cloud-native environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop Go microservices; modernize legacy .NET/SQL systems.
Build and maintain REST/gRPC APIs for performance and reliability.
Deploy and manage AWS services; maintain CI/CD pipelines.
Write automated tests; enforce best practices in coding and deployment.
Collaborate in Agile teams with Product, DevOps, and Frontend (Svelte).
Lead feature development, mentor juniors, and guide architecture decisions.
Document technical solutions; evaluate new tools and optimize systems.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors in CS, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years software development experience with strong SDLC knowledge.
Proven expertise in Go, microservices, SQL, and database-heavy apps.
Experience with event-driven tools (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SNS/SQS, EventBridge), DDD, CQRS.
Familiarity with .NET MVC, SQL Server, GitHub, AWS services, REST/gRPC APIs, Svelte or similar JS frameworks.
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and GitHub Advanced Security.
Familiarity with Cypress testing, authentication systems (Auth0, Okta, ADFS).
Knowledge of reporting tools (ChartIO, amCharts) and serverless architectures.
Healthcare domain experience and understanding of physician compensation models (RVUs, CMMS).
