Job Description: We’re looking for an experienced API Developer to join our innovative engineering team at 2nd Swing. In this role, you'll be key in integrating cutting-edge AI and Machine Learning models into scalable, high-performance applications. You’ll design, build, and maintain robust APIs that power our AI-driven products and services. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy high-performance, scalable, and secure RESTful APIs and services
• Enhance existing ML models and identify new opportunities for AI integration
• Build APIs for data ingestion, preprocessing, and feature engineering to support training and real-time inference
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure API reliability and performance
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, along with comprehensive API documentation
• Optimize response times and resource usage, particularly for compute-heavy AI/ML workloads
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle: planning, design, implementation, testing, and deployment

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 3+ years of experience in backend development and API design
• Strong experience with technologies including:
• Node.js, GraphQL, SQL/MySQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, Keycloak
• Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications on AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, AutoML)
• Understanding of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Proficiency with version control systems, especially Bitbucket
