Summary 

We are hiring an AI / LLM Engineer to build LLM-powered Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) solutions at Ameriprise Financial. The role focuses on extracting and structuring data from documents using LLMs and AWS AI services, while scaling AI use cases across the organization. This is an AI architecture-focused role, not a generic development position.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement IDP pipelines to extract structured data from unstructured documents (financial forms, contracts, onboarding documents, disclosures), including classification, entity extraction, summarization, field mapping, and validation
• Develop and optimize LLM prompts; evaluate outputs, create reusable templates, and configure models for different document types using Claude (Anthropic), GPT (OpenAI), Azure OpenAI, and Google Gemini
• Build scalable AI pipelines using AWS services including AWS Bedrock, Amazon Textract, Amazon SageMaker, AWS Lambda, Amazon S3, and AWS Glue, with API integrations into internal systems
• Onboard new document types, tune models for extraction accuracy, and rapidly scale AI use cases across business teams
• Collaborate with AI platform engineers, data engineers, architects, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into AI-driven document processing solutions
